Maggie Kroening, a sixth-grader at Alexander Graham Middle School, recently won first place in the Local Government Employee Exhibition for the 12-18 year-old category of sculptures.
Her sculpture was called YUM.
Maggie, 12, received a gift certificate for a class at the Light Factory and a $500 scholarship for additional classes of her choice.
